Had an enjoyable siblings dinner at Rakkan Ramen Tustin tonight! Their Spicy Quartz Ramen is absolutely delicious - the creamy broth is rich and velvety, with just the right kick of heat. The pork chasu is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I would only recommend that they pour a bit more broth in the bowl. We also had their crispy gyoza - pan-seared to perfection with a delightful crunch that complements the soft, savory filling. Could also have used a deeper sauce ramekin to really dip the gyoza. Service is always friendly and attentive. Can't wait to come back for more!

Rakkan is hands down my favorite ramen spot. I've tried the Amber, Pearl, and Garnet bowls, but Pearl easily takes the top spot for me. The fact that the broth is vegetable-based still blows my mind--so rich and flavorful, you'd never guess it wasn't meat-based. I've been to both the DTLA and Long Beach locations, and they're impressively consistent, which says a lot. I also recommend trying the grilled pork bowl, super fragrant and nice char on the pork. You can also asked for fresh grated garlic on the side, really stands out in the broth. Rakkan is also the reason I've started enjoying shoyu and shio ramen. The balance of flavors in their bowls is just perfect--light, yet packed with depth. It's definitely my go-to ramen spot, just unfortunately all three locations are a bit far for me.

Stopped by for a quick bite before heading in for our candle making class next door. Wasn't expecting much at all and was simply trying to take in some calories so I don't pass out during the class. But wow absolutely impressive ramen I have had ever. The dish I ordered was the spicy cream quartz which was a vegetable broth with chicken. Most of the other pork based broths are a bit salty for my palate and the shrimp based broth I've tried recently was the same salty flavor. The vegetable broth seems to be the base for most of their ramen sold here and boy it is perfect. Don't really know how to explain it but please just try it if you're in the mood for some ramen. In my humble opinion, the vegetable broth sold here should be the new base for all ramens.

This location currently has a partnership with The Alley in fountain valley, I'm not sure how long it is for, but after making a purchase at The Alley for boba the receipt said in the fine print that you may get a free bowl of ramen with the purchase of one equal or lesser value! In other words, BOGO ramen! Can't say no to that! The interior is well kept and the food comes out pretty quickly as does with most ramen places. I did notice that they are fairly understaffed so please do be nice to them! There was roughly two cooks, one busser and one host/waitress. Our ramen was very flavorful, go for spicy is you can! It's not super spicy but has a little kick to it. The reason for one star knocked off is specifically because the actual noodles that are used by default are super thin like they are instant ramen. I feel like I should not be able to tell that they are instant ramen noodles in a restaurant but the broth did attempt to hide it.

The fam and I wanted to eat here after a couple hours at Bowlero across the way. The dining room was at half-ish capacity so RAKKAN was able to seat our party of 9 right away for a late lunch on a Sunday. I've been to both the Redondo Beach and the Long Beach locations so even though I'm fairly familiar with their menu, there was a seasonal item that caught my attention: Spicy Curry Vegan Ramen. This blend of curry spices with miso sauce was tasty! It comes with mushrooms, corn, and tofu. It also comes with broccolini which was cooked in a way that made the broccolini head a bit crispy. Probably fried. There was also a slice of red and yellow bell peppers, and sliced fried garlic. I liked that the noodles were thin because this portion was huge! https://bit.ly/3VJMDY0 We also ordered a couple orders of Steamed Vegan Gyoza for the table which my family loved! Whatever spicy sauce it sits in really makes the dish. https://bit.ly/45vucJU Edamame was good on its own but elevated when we dipped it in the spicy sauce that the gyoza came in. https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/rakkan-ramen-tustin-tustin?select=x0TG818i0eZ9M5YqiX0zwA Service was awesome! Great staff and the food comes out quickly.
